Delightful stay We loved the Cheriton! The lovely garden with all the birds and pool which was so welcoming after a hot day. Also the "pub" with its honesty bar. The wonderful views from the balcony breakfast tables and the great food

What an awesome venue!
We enjoyed our honeymoon here and it is without a doubt the best place we have been in False Bay!
And we have tried the best!
This establishment deserves 4 stars because the service here is friendy and amazing. The rooms are simply luxerious and you feel as though you are spending the night in a truly unforgettable place.
Wonderful beds, an old style honesty bar for you to enjoy and an awesome jacuzzi!
For breakfast you can enjoy a full english breakfast [none of that cereal ony nonsense], whilst using using their telescopes to view the lighthouse from the Cheriton.
If you like visiting museums, Dirks collection of all thing challenges many of the museums in Simons town.
Im not giving any more secrets of the Cheriton away, you have to experience it for yourself! I really recommend this place and in winter you can enjoy the jacuzzi,even in the cold!

World Class Quality venue!!!!

My husband and I were lucky enough to have celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at the Cheriton. We were so impressed with the service and accommodation we were given on our honeymoon that we returned this year and once again we were treated like royalty and had such a wonderful time. We had the pleasure of staying in one of their family rooms, which was private, peaceful, overlooking the garden. We had a blast in the jacuzzi and there is a beautiful swimming pool for those hot days. All their rooms have been carefully thought out and decorated with memorabilia of naval decent, which makes each room unique to the next and it gives you the feeling of adventure. One can see that Dirk & Denise are passionate about their guest house and have added their personal touch everywhere you look! I must say their breakfast is the best you'll get in town, they offer you a selection of cereals, fresh fruit salad, full English breakfast, juice, tea, coffee and it's quite a generous portion. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning by sitting on the deck with the most amazing sea views. The guest house is within walking distance of the beachfront, Boulders beach, local restaurants and shops. I would really recommend the Cheriton as a beautiful, romantic getaway for anyone looking for affordable accommodation.

Charming, Relaxing, Friendly B& B with ideal location for exploring the Cape

Just a perfect place to stay to enjoy Simon's Town, the penguins and the Cape of Good Hope. Denise and Dirk were so friendly and helpful and they have filled Cheriton with charming details, local information and helpful services (binoculars! bird guides! laundry service! DVDs!). The delicious breakfast on the patio with an absolutely stunning view was the highlight of every day (you could spend hours just birdwatching from the patio) and the family room we came back to each night was perfect for our family with elementary kids. We are so glad that we decided to stay in Simon's Town and not just do a day trip down to the Cape; we met penguins on our walk to dinner, had time to fully explore the National Park and enjoyed the local shops and fresh seafood. We definitely recommend this B & B and would love to stay there again!
