CHERITON Guest House offers consistently outstanding service and hospitality in the century old home overlooking False Bay and the historic naval town of Simon's Town. The well preserved, elegant Victorian home was originally designed by Sir John Jackson in 1898.

CHERITON Guest House is set high against the mountain in the quiet suburb of Seaforth. Porcupine are frequent nocturnal visitors and guinea fowl roost in the surrounding trees. The penguin colony at Boulders Beach, beaches and the village are within easy walking distance. The guest house offers an ideal central location to all of Cape Town's main tourist attractions including Table Mountain, Cape Point, Robben Island, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the Constantia Wine Route amongst several other attractions.

A unique feature of the CHERITON is the honesty bar "Just Nuisance" which is en-suite to the Emily Hobhouse room. Here you will not only relax, but spend hours browsing the naval artefacts, artwork and outstanding humour lovingly collected and displayed by Dirk and Denise over the years. The interesting lounge area with its cosy fireplace and games table will occupy you on a chilly winter's evening.

Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the balcony with stunning mountain and sea views.
