Guest house in Simon's Town
The Cheriton Guest House is an accredited 3-star B&B situated in the quiet suburb of Seaforth in the historic, naval town of Simon's Town. It has a maritime character and is well-positioned in its proximity to lovely beaches, walks, diving adventures, boat tours, and the South African Navy.
This superbly preserved, century-old, elegant Victorian house, set against a beautiful mountain backdrop, overlooks False Bay - with the picturesque Hottentots Holland mountains visible behind Somerset West over the bay in the distance. Guinea foul trot around the area, and the famous SANPARKS penguin colony is a 5-minute walk away. Guests can enjoy a homely and comfortable environment with amazing views from the decks, laze in the terraced garden and pool area or unwind in the little Just Nuisance pub, with its quirky collection of nautical paraphernalia. Simply relax after a journey, prepare for the next day's tourist outings or business meetings — or eat at one of the local restaurants.
Breakfast is served each morning in the dining area or on one or the sun-soaked decks (in summer). Nearby restaurants cater for a range of tastes for lunch and dinner. Airport and local shuttle transfers are available, as are tour transport facilities, but car-hire is recommended.
